Using SubliJet UHD Correctly

Polyester and coated blanks

Use sublimation paper and a heat press for white or light polyester apparel and polymer-coated mugs, drinkware, panels, signs and promotional blanks.

Not direct-to-cotton ink

Sublimation does not bond directly to untreated cotton. Compare VersiFlex ink.

Keep one ink chemistry

Do not switch between SubliJet UHD, VersiFlex, EasySubli or ChromaBlast by simply changing cartridges. Mixed inks can clog nozzles and damage the printhead.

Yield varies by job

There is no fixed print count. Ink use depends on image size, saturation, coverage, cleaning cycles, print frequency and maintenance.

Waste ink tank

The waste ink tank is a maintenance item, not ink. Replace it when the printer or software requests service.
