Sawgrass SubliJet HD Ink for SG400 and SG800

Shop genuine Sawgrass SubliJet HD ink for Virtuoso SG400 and SG800 printers. Choose individual colors, a CMYK set, an ink-and-paper bundle or a compatible waste tank.

Compatibility first: SubliJet HD is for the SG400 and SG800 only. It does not fit the newer SG500 or SG1000, which use SubliJet UHD ink.

What Can You Make with SubliJet HD?

Polyester apparel

Transfer designs to white or light polyester apparel and compatible fabrics.

Polymer-coated hard goods

Decorate compatible mugs, drinkware, panels, tiles, coasters and gifts.

Required transfer workflow

Print on sublimation paper, then apply the correct heat, time and pressure.

Cotton limitation

Sublimation does not bond directly to untreated cotton. Use polyester, a coated blank or another method.

Printer-care reminder: Keep the printer dedicated to its installed ink, check use-by dates, and remember that yield varies with coverage, cleaning and print frequency.

The cartridges in this collection are for Sawgrass Virtuoso SG400 and SG800 printers.

Can I use SubliJet HD in an SG500 or SG1000?

No. SG500 and SG1000 printers use SubliJet UHD, a different cartridge system.

What sizes are listed for these cartridges?

Current product pages list black at 42 ml and cyan, magenta and yellow at 29 ml. Check the package label before installation.

Can SubliJet HD print directly on cotton?

No. Traditional sublimation requires polyester or a polymer-coated surface.

Can I switch my printer to another ink type?

Do not change ink chemistry by simply replacing cartridges. Keep the printer dedicated unless Sawgrass provides specific guidance.
