Sawgrass VersiFlex Ink for SG500 and SG1000

Shop genuine 31 ml VersiFlex ink and paper for SG500 and SG1000 printers. Decorate cotton, natural fabrics, polyester and coated blanks.

Compatibility first: VersiFlex uses cyan, magenta, yellow and clear Expander instead of standard CMYK. Use these cartridges only in an SG500 or SG1000 configured for VersiFlex—not in a printer running SubliJet UHD, EasySubli or ChromaBlast.

Important: VersiFlex does not use black ink. Its four-cartridge configuration is cyan, magenta, yellow and clear Expander—not standard CMYK. Black and dark areas are produced through the VersiFlex color workflow without a separate black cartridge. Expander is essential and must never be replaced with black SubliJet UHD, EasySubli, ChromaBlast or other ink.

Choose paper by material: VersiFlex Light is for supported natural or uncoated surfaces; sublimation paper is for polyester or coated blanks.

Do not convert another ink system by simply installing VersiFlex cartridges. Mixing ink chemistries can affect print quality and the ink path.

Which printers use these VersiFlex cartridges?

They are made for Sawgrass SG500 and SG1000 printers dedicated to the VersiFlex ink system.

Why does VersiFlex not have black ink?

VersiFlex is a CMY plus Expander system. The fourth cartridge position contains clear Expander, which is required for the workflow. Black and dark areas are produced without a separate black cartridge. Never install black ink in the Expander position.

Can I put VersiFlex ink in a SubliJet printer?

No. Keep each Sawgrass printer dedicated to one ink chemistry. Switching or mixing systems can contaminate the lines and may damage the printer.

Can VersiFlex make mugs and sublimation products?

Yes. Use compatible sublimation paper and correct Sawgrass settings for polyester or coated blanks.

Which paper should I use?

Use VersiFlex Light for supported cotton, natural fabrics and uncoated surfaces. Use sublimation paper for polyester and polymer-coated products.
