Returns a& Refund Policy

SawgrassPrinter.com, operated by Southtrend Corp., sells professional sublimation inks, transfer paper, media, consumables, printers, and related equipment. Because so many of these products are sensitive to handling, storage, packaging integrity, contamination, expiration, and registration, our return terms are intentionally strict. This protects product quality for all customers and helps prevent return abuse. Please read this policy carefully before ordering.

30-Day Returns on Eligible Items

We offer a limited 30-day return window that applies only to eligible non-consumable products. A return must be requested within 30 days of the purchase date and must be approved in advance with a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Any item shipped back to us without an approved RMA will not be accepted.

To qualify, an item must be new, unopened, unused, uninstalled, unregistered, still factory sealed, in its original manufacturer packaging, complete with every manual, accessory, insert, part, cable, and tag, and in fully resalable condition, with proof of purchase.

Consumables Are Final Sale

Inks, transfer paper, media, print kits, and other consumable products are final sale once they ship, except where applicable law requires otherwise or where we shipped the wrong item. Once a consumable has been removed from its factory-sealed packaging, it cannot be returned.

Brand-New Products and Authorized Dealer Status

Unless a product page clearly states otherwise, every item we sell is brand new and sourced through manufacturers, authorized distributors, or other authorized supply channels. SawgrassPrinter.com is an authorized dealer or reseller for the professional brands identified as authorized on our website. Where a manufacturer warranty is included, it is provided by the manufacturer and governed by that manufacturer's terms, limitations, and approval process.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged once shipped, except where required by applicable law or where we shipped the wrong item:

  • Ink cartridges and ink bottles
  • Sawgrass inks and sublimation inks
  • Transfer paper and media
  • Print kits and consumable products
  • Any opened item, or any item removed from factory-sealed packaging
  • Items with broken seals, or with damaged, missing, or altered packaging
  • Software, downloads, activation codes, licenses, or other digital items
  • Clearance, closeout, discontinued, demo, or special-order items

Opened consumables are final sale in all cases.

Conditions for Eligible Non-Consumable Returns

A non-consumable item may qualify for return within 30 days of purchase only if it is new, unopened, unused, uninstalled, unregistered, factory sealed, in the original manufacturer packaging, complete with all manuals, accessories, inserts, parts, cables, tags, and packaging materials, in resalable condition, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and the customer pays all return shipping. Original shipping, freight, handling, and insurance charges are not refundable. If the order shipped under a free-shipping promotion, the actual outbound shipping cost we incurred may be deducted from your refund. Returns that arrive opened, used, damaged, incomplete, altered, missing parts, missing packaging, or otherwise not resalable may be refused or refunded at a reduced amount, at our discretion.

How to Request a Return

To start a return, email us at info@eventprinters.com with your order number, the product you wish to return, and the reason for the request. If approved, we will send return instructions and an RMA number. That RMA number must be clearly included with the return. Items sent back without prior authorization will be refused.

Pack returns securely inside a proper shipping carton. Do not place shipping labels, tape, writing, or markings directly on the manufacturer's product box or packaging. Returns that arrive with labels, tape, writing, damage, or markings on the manufacturer packaging may be refused or subject to additional deductions. We strongly recommend a trackable, insured shipping method; we are not responsible for return shipments that are lost, delayed, misdelivered, or damaged in transit.

Defective Products and Manufacturer Warranty

All products leave our warehouse factory sealed unless a product page states otherwise. Many items include a manufacturer's limited warranty. Warranty coverage, technical evaluation, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and exchange approval are determined by the manufacturer under its own warranty terms.

If a product appears defective, contact us at info@eventprinters.com within 30 days of purchase with your order number, product model, serial number (if applicable), a description of the issue, and any requested photos or video. Depending on the product and issue, we may direct you to the manufacturer for technical support, diagnosis, warranty service, or manufacturer-approved exchange authorization. The manufacturer may require troubleshooting before approving any repair, replacement, exchange, or RMA. If the manufacturer approves warranty service, you must follow its warranty and RMA process; in some cases we can assist with instructions or issue an RMA when the manufacturer authorizes or requires it. No item is considered approved for return, refund, replacement, or exchange until the issue has been reviewed and the appropriate process has been authorized.

Damaged or Incorrect Shipments

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If it arrives damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@eventprinters.com. Keep all original packaging, boxes, labels, packing materials, and the product itself, as photos may be required. Failing to keep the original packaging or to report shipping damage promptly may limit our ability to file a carrier claim or offer a resolution. If we confirm that the wrong item was shipped, we will provide return instructions; the item must be returned unused, unopened, factory sealed, and in the condition received.

Printers and Electronics

Printers and electronic items cannot be returned for buyer's remorse, an incorrect purchase, compatibility issues, installation or setup difficulty, software or driver problems, color-management issues, a cancelled event, a change of business plans, or because the item is no longer needed. It is the customer's responsibility to confirm compatibility, ink system, printer model, operating system and software requirements, electrical requirements, and intended use before buying. Once a printer or electronic item has been opened, installed, connected, powered on, used, registered, or removed from its original packaging, it is no longer eligible for return.

Refused, Unauthorized, or Ineligible Returns

Refused shipments, unauthorized returns, and ineligible returns may be declined, sent back to the customer, or held for redelivery at the customer's expense. The customer is responsible for any original shipping, return shipping, carrier fees, redelivery fees, and other costs incurred.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. If you ordered the wrong item, simply place a new order for the correct one. The original item may be returned only if it qualifies under this policy and is approved.

Refunds and Credits

Once we receive an approved return, we will inspect it and let you know whether the refund or credit is approved or declined. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of inspection and verification, minus any applicable restocking fee, original and return shipping charges, free-shipping recovery costs, missing-item deductions, packaging-damage deductions, or other amounts allowed under this policy. Freight, shipping, handling, and insurance charges are non-refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise. Please allow extra time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you have not received it, contact us at info@eventprinters.com.

Return Abuse

We reserve the right to decline any return that appears to involve abuse of this policy, including but not limited to temporary use, product testing, repeated return requests, opened consumables, broken seals, altered or missing packaging, missing parts, product registration, damage from misuse, or any item returned in a condition different from how it shipped.
