SubliJet UHD or VersiFlex?

Choose SubliJet UHD for traditional sublimation

Use it for white or light polyester apparel and polymer-coated mugs, tumblers, panels, signs and other sublimation-ready blanks.

Choose VersiFlex when cotton matters

Use the appropriate VersiFlex media for supported cotton, natural fabrics and selected uncoated surfaces. Use sublimation paper for polyester and coated blanks.

Keep the printer dedicated

Do not switch between SubliJet UHD and VersiFlex by simply replacing cartridges. Different ink chemistries should not be mixed inside the same printer.

Understand VersiFlex color limits

VersiFlex uses cyan, magenta, yellow and clear Expander. It has no separate black cartridge or white ink, so light substrates provide the most predictable results.

Traditional sublimation requires polyester or polymer-coated blanks. Test unfamiliar VersiFlex substrates before production.
